Cinco De Mayo Masculine Birthday Card

I was so excited to see the color combo from the Embellish Magazine’s Masculine Color Trends challenge.

With my dad’s birthday coming up next month, I figured it would be fitting to make a card for him. His birthday is on May 5th, which is also Cinco de Mayo, so I thought that it would be appropriate to make a festive card. Plus two of the colors from the challenge are in the Mexican flag-red and green (although I think the green in the flag is more like a kelly green). I really like blue and steel gray together, but I would never have thought to make a card with all four of the colors. It was fun working outside of my comfort zone. Thanks embellish Magazine! Head on over there to join in the challenge!
